Mi PM 2.5 Detector — your own eco-station
How clean is the air you breathe?
They say we could see a burning candle light at a distance of more than 20 km if the air was absolutely clean. We can only imagine how that would be, because, unfortunately, our view is reduced by dust and gases that come with many health-related harms. The most dangerous pathogens floating around are fine suspended particles PM2.5 that can reside in the atmosphere for a long time without settling to the ground. They are a cause of allergies and more severe diseases.
Intelligent interaction with Mi Air Purifiers
You are lucky if you already have Mi Air Purifier or Air Purifier 2. The smart air detector works well in tandem with these purifiers, enabling them to read its air quality indications. Pre-set a permissible limit of the pollution and if the detector shows value exceeding that limit, Mi Air Purifier will automatically start working. Now purifying the air inside your home became more simple and intelligent!
Good morning! Air purification has been completed
Mi PM2.5 detector starts its day long before the first rays of sunshine reach your room. Get up and enjoy morning fresh air that injects your body with energy! Switch to time mode and be sure to be everywhere in time.
Latest commentsChao-chao 20 May 2020HOW TO CONNECT TO MI HOME APP ???!!! : This device came out into the market in 2016, it comes from the factory with an old firmware and it cannot connect to Xiaomi account with ID number higher than 2^32. Your Mi Home account has probably an ID number higher than 2^32 because a lot of people have already created a Xiaomi Mi Home account before you. So we need to update the firmware first to allow it to connect to Mi Home app. But how to upgrade the firmware if we cannot connect this device to the Mi Home app ? I found a solution on a Yeelight forum "Connection timeout issue" given by "dingyichen" (Yeelight Staff) : https://forum.yeelight.com/t/topic/9582/240 (check the last messages starting from January 2020) 1. Login to the Mi Home app (choose MAINLAND CHINA server location) with the following public account user: [email protected] password: yeelink1234 [ !!! PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THE PASSWORD OF THIS PUBLIC ACCOUNT OR OTHER PEOPLE WON'T BE ABLE TO USE THIS TRICK !!! ] 2. Add the Xiaomi PM2.5 Air Quality Monitor device, it should work because this account has an ID number lower than 2^32 (it is an old public account) 3. Then, go to the Xiaomi PM2.5 Air Quality Monitor device options 4. Update the firmware to the latest version, you might have to click/try many times before the update works 5. After that, remove your device from this user account so that other people don't turn on/off your device 6. Logout from this public account (click the profile picture then logout) 7. Then login with your own personal account and try to add the Xiaomi PM2.5 Air Quality Monitor device again, it should now work because you just updated the firmware
