This is the area Xiaomi has been before. Well, it already has SmartMi ZhiMi DC Electric Fan and a few Mi Air Purifiers, but an air conditioner is the whole other story. What a fan gives you is just a kind of wind chill effect: it can only replace hot air with cooler one. What an air purifier helps with is getting rid of bacteria, unpleasant smells, toxic gases etc. What an air conditioner is made to do is to provide a definite temperature where you live or work and maintain that temperature all the time. But Xiaomi’s air conditioning unit offers a smart feature as well. What could that be, dear Xiaomi fans? Let’s discover this new product together.
SmartMi Full DC Inverter Air Conditioner consists of three parts: the compressor block, the blower block, and the remote control. Xiaomi has worked with the specialists from HITACHI and Panasonic to make this air conditioner. The system turned out to be not only ergonomic and technologically advanced, but also elegant. At the moment SmartMi Full DC Inverter Air Conditioner is available only in white.
The unit is comparatively energy efficient. It takes energy up to 3500W when it needs to cool down the air in the room, and up to 4500W to heat it up. It is suitable for spaces up to 23 sq. m. and is capable of delivering airflow of 700 m3/h. Those who have a small living space or office will enjoy this air conditioner!
You will be amazed how quiet SmartMi Full DC Inverter Air Conditioner is. It operates at 21 decibels, which is the sound level of a gentle bird chirping. Such a quiet operation is provided by a NIDEC DC engine and a fan manufactured by Panasonic. So when you hear the device works just think of the lovely birds calling to their young in the morning.
The device is controllable with the help of a supplied remote control or via the MiSmart Air application. You can sync with the device through the app and manage the temperature in the room even when you are out in town or just on your way home. Isn’t it great to come home and be welcomed by a temperature that is refreshing or cozying?
